Summer Glau

 Her first TV appearance was as a ballerina in a guest role in a 2002 episode of the show Angel. Director Joss Whedon saw her and decided to cast her as River Tam on his short-lived TV series Firefly. Glau also appeared in the role of the sequel Serenity. Glau auditioned previously for the Power Ranger role (White Wild Force Ranger, Alyssa Erile) in Power Rangers Wild Force. However, she lost to Jessica Rey before meeting Whedon. She was the role of Shelly, the high school senior in Sleepover. The film also featured her in "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom?" episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. " The second season of The Unit as Crystal Burns (the girl who plays Jeremy Erhart). Glau played Tess Doerner (a paranoid, schizophrenia-prone returnee) in the second season of The 4400. From season three, she was an recurring character. Mammoth was also her horror comedy character. Glau was cast in the ABC Family TV movie The Initiation of Sarah.In Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, a TV series that premiered on the 13th of January 2008, Glau was the character Cameron Phillips, a Terminator infiltration unit sent back to safeguard John Connor and Sarah Connor from Skynet. The seventh episode of the series, "The Demon Hand" was a scene in which Glau (as Cameron) dances ballet. Glau also played Allison Young (Cameron’s human doppelganger ) in episodes from the second season, "Allison of Palmdale" and"Born to run". Glau also appeared as herself in a 2009 episode of the CBS comedy show The Big Bang Theory
